Description:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
This General Mechanic position could work in any department of this PBX facility. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas and must be able to climb up down stairs and ladders. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends upon area). These positions work in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment and require the wearing of appropriate foot wear. Welding experience preferred. Must have own tools.
Requirements:
Mechanics work 6-7 days per week. Positions will be for rotating shifts. Scheduling can include some major holidays. Must have a current driver license.
