Director of Global Compliance Strategy, Governance and Technology - (Tampa, FL)

Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, plan, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure compliance with ethical or regulatory standards with respect to tactical design and implementation of global compliance program, including development of global Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, anti-Bribery and Corruption, and Consumer Protection, and typology standards and procedures taking into consideration existing risk-management strategies, cultural and legal nuances, evolving legal/regulatory developments, and range of global regulatory environments. Manage global compliance technology infrastructure with regard to transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and fraud prevention including ongoing system, business rule and detection algorithm development, tuning, evaluation and assessment. Identify localized risk management, monitoring and data delivery requirements through liaison with local compliance, business and technology units. Serve as an internal resource/point of authority on all compliance programs, systems and procedures as well as training program development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, 24 months experience in job offered or alternative occupation of Compliance Management, 24 months experience with development of global AML standards and procedures and global compliance infrastructure management, 24 months of experience with business rule/detection algorithm development, tuning, evaluation and assessment, 24 months serving as internal resource/point of authority on compliance programs, and 24 months using and identifying cultural and legal nuances to aid in typology implementation. 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm,
