Sewickley Hills Borough seeking Part-time Treasurer.
Sewickley Hills Borough is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of part-time Treasurer. This position requires approximately 25-30 hours per month.
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in QuickBooks, accrual-base accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, budgeting, general ledger, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with municipal government and audits (preferred) - Experience with forms and reports for compliance with state/federal government requirements (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping (preferred)
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting or similar field (preferred)
