Administrative Assistant II, Social Work

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Social Work department.
Primary Job Duties: This position provides complex and detailed-oriented administrative support to the School of Social Work and reports directly to the School of Social Work Director. In addition, this position supports the School's Field Instruction Office. This position provides support requiring comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and confidential matters within the University and School of Social Work.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in an administrative support function. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent administrative, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, and oral & written communication skills; detail-oriented, flexible, and professional, ability to plan, organize, handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, demonstrate initiative, and work independently or as part of a team. Competency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of PeopleSoft is preferred.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Starting hourly rate is $18.81, which is approximately $39,232.00 annually. After successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, there is a 2.5% pay increase for new hires or internal promotions.
