The OK Way is based on three key concepts: Communication, Teamwork and a Positive Attitude. These concepts are how we live day to day and how we represent ourselves with our co-workers, our vendors and our customers. We communicate every day in every way in good times and in bad. We realize that we can only succeed as a team, caring and respecting each other in all departments.
They say that you can choose your attitude. That may be true, but at OK Produce, there is only one attitude we choose and that is a positive one.
OK Produce was established and built by hard working people who were dedicated to providing amazingly good products and expert service. This tradition is in action each and every day, carried out by our team of experts.
Simply put, we know our produce.
Knowledgeable buyers with insight to the day’s freshest commodities ensure great products end up in the produce aisle. Experienced caretakers work throughout the OK Produce facilities to care for precious fruits and vegetables, maintaining the highest quality standards. It takes a great team to provide the best produce from the field to the consumer as promised.
It is this promise that has built the OK Produce tradition of quality and service.
OK Produce owns and operates a fleet of 60 tractors and 65 trailers that contain refrigeration units. We deliver throughout the San Joaquin Valley, north into Sacramento and the Bay Area, and along the coast from San Francisco down to San Diego. We guarantee “next day” Service to most of these areas six days a week (excluding Sundays).
Thinking green is part of the OK Produce rich history and our forward thinking roots back to the beginning. We realized long ago that in order for our earth to continue to provide its bounty of fruits and vegetables, we would need to respect and care for it. This respect has grown from supplying the fruits of Mother Nature from Day One – to launching a comprehensive green program in 2001. Today green is a vital part of our culture at OK Produce
Just like a banana, most fruits and vegetables start out green before they mature into a burst of vibrant colors. We understand that there is a direct connection between caring for our environment and the quality of fruits and vegetables that end up in the grocery aisle. Maintaining the earth is the most important aspect of producing great tasting fruits and vegetables.
