Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling
Position Description:
A full-time faculty position with a course load of 24 credits per year, splitting teaching responsibilities between the traditional undergraduate psychology program and Master of Arts in Counseling program. Additional responsibilities include academic advising and university service. Area of specialization is open, however a research interest in Sports Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychological Testing, Substance Abuse Counseling, or Trauma Counseling is desired.
Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology or Counseling (ABD will be considered), LPC license in Oregon (or license eligible) and a desire to teach and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching experience is preferred. Applicants are expected to have relevant professional experiences in the field and ongoing research interests. Support of the University mission and doctrinal statement is required.
The preferred candidate will have a doctorate in Counselor Education, experience teaching in a variety of modalities, a strong interest in faith integration, and an active research interest that could potentially involve students.

Compensation:
Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
