The College of Engineering at Iowa State University, in Ames, seeks qualified applicants for a Budget Analyst IV to manage fiscal operations of one or more departments and support college level, finance related activities. The Budget Analyst IV will be responsible for developing financial reports and projections, developing annual budgets, collecting and analyzing data, managing multiple types of accounts and awards, and advising on federal and state regulations. This position will provide account oversight for appropriateness and allowability. Additionally, this position will assist with development and implementation of department or college accounting, audit, and year-end procedures.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in finance related field.
- Experience in financial forecasting and analysis.
- Experience developing and implementing budget models.
- Experience with fund accounting and requirements found in a university or large research institution.
