Accounts Payable Senior Processor

HRHCare is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Senior Processor to join our team in Peekskill.
An Accounts Payable Senior Processor is responsible for maintaining all payable accounts as well as assisting in the daily functions of the Finance Department. She/he will perform additional duties assigned.
Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Open mail and distribute mail in the Finance Department
- Prepare check requests with appropriate account codes and vendor numbers, justification and approvals.
- Enter invoices for Hudson River HealthCare into the Solomon system and assist in the check disbursement process.
- Provide coverage for Accounts payable as needed.
- Manage invoicing through Coupa, support the invoice inbox to assigned AP owners and create Coupa invoices from supplier submitted invoices.
- Manually create Coupa invoices for any PDF or paper invoices submitted.
- Maintain good relationships with Supervisors and staff on delinquent packing slips.
- Interact with Supervisors regarding A/P issues.
- Answer phones, take messages, and correspond appropriately with vendors
- Assist in audits as needed providing supporting documentation.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma/ GED
Preferred Education Requirement: Associate’s Degree
Minimum Work Related Experience: 0-1 year
Preferred Work Related Experience: 2-4 years
Minimum Specialized Skills & Knowledge: Experience in or training in Bookkeeping; experience in healthcare or non-for-profit agency. Familiarity with PC, computer and software programs including Microsoft Excel.
