Asst Office Manager
Downtown Chicago CPA firm has immediate opening for an administrative assistant to our office manager. Experience with a CPA firm a plus. Our clients consist of high net-worth individuals and families as well as very successful privately-held companies.
Duties:
· Works closely with the firm’s partners, office manager, and professional staff on firm-wide policy setting, problem solving, and decision making
· Maintain firm’s time and billing and accounts receivable
· Maintain and process accounts payable transactions (QuickBooks)
· Process and assemble tax returns, including scanning and electronically filing returns
· Assist the office manager in managing clients’ payroll service
· Respond to client needs in a professional and timely manner
· Perform other general office duties as needed

Extended hours will be necessary at peak tax deadline dates.
