FARM WORKER: COFFEE LABORER
Greenwell Farms, Inc. 81-6581 Mamalahoa Hwy, Kealakekua, Hawaii 96750, Kona Coast of Island of Hawaii. Picking coffee cherries, carry in waist basket; empty baskets into burlap bags & carry bags to delivery trucks. Orchard maintenance: plant/prune coffee trees; cut/weed grass; apply pesticides/fertilizers. Anticipated start/end dates: 06/23/2019- 12/23/2019. 8 hrs/day, M-S. Wage offer: highest of Adverse Effect Wage Rate in effect at the time ($14.73/hr;OT $22.10/hr), prevailing hourly or piece rate ($0.60 per pound), agreed-upon collective bargaining wage, if any, or Federal or State minimum wage, except where special procedure is approved for occupation or specific class of agricultural employment. If piece rate pay does not reach amount worker would have earned at hourly rate, pay will be raised to what worker would have earned at hourly rate. Guaranteed offer of employment for total work hours equal to at least 3/4 of workdays of the total period beginning 1st workday after worker’s arrival or anticipated start date, whichever is later, & ending on end date stated in work contract or extensions, if any. All tools, supplies, equipment provided w/o charge. Housing available at no cost to workers, including U.S. workers, who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at end of each workday. Transportation & subsistence costs to worksite will be provided/paid by employer on completion of 50% of contract, or earlier, if appropriate. Position is temporary; 25 openings to fill. Must be legally authorized to work in US.
