FRESNO METROPOLITAN FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT CAREER OPPORTUNITY NOTICE CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION Construction Technician I - II $3,504 - $4,899 / Month The Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District is currently recruiting for a Construction Technician in the Operations Construction Management section of the District. Primary duties include performing construction inspection of the District’s storm drainage facilities according to the District’s plans and specifications. The position may also assist in the operation of the District’s storm drainage system. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience in the construction of public works projects including drainage facilities and related sub-professional engineering work, surveying, and drafting. Construction Technician I requires one year of related work experience. Construction Technician II requires three years of related experience including at least two years experience at a level commensurate with the Construction Technician I position. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field with specialization in construction, may substitute for up to two years of the required experience. A valid California Driver License is required.
