Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree required with course work in human resources or related field; supplemented by three (3) to four (4) years responsible Human Resource experience, preferably in a school setting. Competitive salary and benefits.
The Executive Services Division is now accepting applications for Human Resources Specialist I/II.
The Human Resources Specialist I/II performs highly specialized technical support functions in compensation, employment, personnel records, position control, certificated recruitment, or other areas for the certificated and classified personnel of the Santa Clara County Office of Education. This position is full-time and has a work year of 12 months/ 261 days/ 8 hour per day.

Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for the January 28, 2020. Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
