Reporter

The Daily Jeffersonian is looking for a great reporter who loves to tell compelling stories in print and online. Reporters are expected to be self-starters who are good at generating story ideas, acting with urgency to collect and analyze information about local events and feature topics to write stories for online, mobile devices and print publication. Examples of work should show well-developed reporting and writing skills, as well as the ability to shoot video and engage readers via social media. Must be comfortable using Facebook and Twitter to connect with readers. Must have a good knowledge of AP style; at least one year's professional experience is preferred, but recent graduates with significant college experience and internships will be considered. May require night /weekend shifts.
