Utilities Manager/Assistant Public Works Director
The City of San Joaquin is now recruiting for one (1) full-time Utilities Manager/Assistant Public Works Director to oversee the City’s utilities (principally water but may also do wastewater) infrastructure and assist the Public Works Director with management of the Department, as well as performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements are minimum three years (3) of increasingly responsible experience in water and/or wastewater treatment as well as some supervisory experience; possession of a T1 and D1 certification at time of hire AND obtaining a T2 and D2 within 6 months of hire date; High School Diploma or equivalent; and Class C Driver License. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Annual salary for this position is $71,760 as of FY 22-23
