- Public Workers Maintenance Worker II
The Public Works Maintenance Worker II performs the full array of duties assigned to classes in the Public Works Maintenance Worker series including maintenance and construction work in one or more Public Works divisions; demonstrates a full understanding of all applicable policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties; occasionally assists in the training of the lower level Public Works Maintenance Worker I positions; performs other related duties as required.

Specialist I: $1,374.46-$1,754.03/ Bi-Weekly
The Water Quality Specialist performs water system quality assurance to ensure clean, safe drinking water for the citizens of Madera. This position is responsible for water system operation; inspecting, installing, servicing and repairing backflow, cross-connection and other water delivery controls; collects data and maintains records, logs and reports; learns policies, procedures and work methods associated with assigned duties in the Water division; performs other related duties as required. On-the-job training is provided.

- Public Works Maintenance Lead Worker
The Public Works Maintenance Lead Worker leads, oversees, reviews and performs work activities and duties assigned to the Public Works maintenance crews; assumes responsibility for the more difficult and complex tasks; performs skilled work in the maintenance and repair of street and sewer and water facilities; performs other related duties as required. Current vacancy is in the Streets & Storm Drainage Division; list will be valid for one year.
