Lifeguard/Swim Instructors - $16.00-$18.00/Hour
Head Lifeguard - $17.00-$19.00/Hour
Pool Manager - $17.50-$19.50/Hour
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lifeguard/Swim Instructors: This position is responsible for the safety of swimmers; enforces rules and provides good customer service to aquatics customers; and instructs child and adult swim lessons.
Head Lifeguard: The Head Lifeguard is a lead position and assists in the development of aquatic lesson plans and works with Lifeguards/Swim Instructors to implement Swim Lessons, Private Swim, and Water Fitness classes.
Pool Manager: This position is responsible for on-site day-to-day operations of managing the lifeguards/swim instructors at the Centennial Park Pool. This includes ensuring that the pools are operable and safe for public use. They are responsible for inspecting pool equipment and reporting issues, as well as assisting in the preparation of reports and aquatic staff schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications: Lifeguard Certification and First Aid & CPR-PRO required. City will provide training for certifications. Pool Manager and Head Lifeguard positions require prior experience as a certified lifeguard.
