Vacuum Excavation Operator (Construction)
Browning Contractors Inc. is a leading underground construction company for the Central Valley. We are looking for experienced Vacuum Excavation Operator with a strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment. Ideal candidates will have at least one full year experience with utility locating projects, although experience is not a must. Candidates must understand that the work takes place outdoors and in all types of weather. Candidates should be detail oriented and are expected to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, skills, and procedures. An ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to identify and locate all underground utility lines without the risk of
damage
- Operate and maintain vacuum excavation equipment
- Perform basic and/or advance laborer tasks as needed
- Utilize either Hydro-Excavation to safely excavate holes, trenches or pits
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicles of equipment
Skills & Qualifications:
? Hold a valid Driver´s License Class C driver's license in CA (Class A is a plus)
? Minimum of 1-year verifiable recent vacuum excavation operator experience
? Must be able to bend and lift up to 75 lbs.
? Candidates must be able to pass a 'fit to work' physical examination
