Utility Foreman
The foreman supervises a crew of laborers, operators and water truck drivers in the installation of structures, facilities, and systems by performing the following duties. Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines. Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings. Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely matter. Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
Operates trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment, materials and supplies. Enforces all company safety policies and procedures and all client-required safety policies and procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crew member discipline and documentation to be communicated with HR. Submits crew members' time sheets to payroll by deadline. Attends mandatory meetings as required. Even though classified as a foreman, must be able to perform duties of a laborer and/or operator upon demand.
