Do you have a passion for patient wellness and teaching? If so, we have a management opening in our Health Education Department. The Health Education Manager will educate patients in group and individual settings on lifestyle changes to prevent or control their disease process. Promote health education programs and services to the clientele and medical staff of Bakersfield Family Medical Center. This position will coordinate and teach educational programs for patients regarding wellness information, including group and individual sessions. This position will require experience as a Health Educator with exposure to the design and structure of a comprehensive Health Education Program. Curriculum development experience. Management experience preferred. Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing Program - California Registered Nursing license with Health Education experience or California Registered Dietician. Applicants with degrees in Health Care Administration with one to three years' experience in Health Education will be considered. Licensed or CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist).
